Spanish speakers in Horry County are getting a little help from the Friends. Friends of the Socastee Library (Myrtle Beach) are funding a new language lab where users can learn English. The “Berlitz Ingles Basico Nuevo” English instruction module is a kit based on audio CDs. Users can listen to the self-study audio course using headphones at a new multi-user media station. The newly revised and updated version of this well-known product focuses on popular topics, colloquial expressions, practical and real life language used in everyday conversation.
